As mothers running a business, our to-do lists often feel endless. In our previous jobs, rest might have been seen as something negative — even lazy. We were taught to work hard, play hard — the more, the better. And despite knowing better now, we still sometimes fall back into those old habits, pushing ourselves to keep going no matter what.

But these days, in those exact moments when the pressure mounts, we’re learning to choose differently. Instead of hustling harder, we pause. We rest. We take a step back to reflect, to process, and to reconnect with ourselves and what truly matters.

Rest is not a weakness — it's part of the process.
